Water and fire central at Sioen Emergency Services Show

Water and fire take central stage at the Sioen booth J77 at the Emergency Services Show in Birmingham this week.

This summer, appropriate firefighting has proven to be indispensable. Forest fires in Portugal, fire at the national museum in Brazil, drought fires in California, rescue of children in caves in Thailand. All over the globe, firefighters have been in the news, saving and protecting people. They need the best protection they can get. Sioen offers intervention suits, water rescue garments, emergency response clothing and even ballistics solutions incorporated.

On the Sioen booth in Birmingham, we will also demonstrate the capabilities of our specialist brands Mullion and Ursuit. Both Sioen brands have the safety of lives at sea as their key concern. Durability, staying dry, safety and comfort are important factors in the protective clothing choice of professionals rescuing others every day.

Since the early 1960’s we’ve been engineering and manufacturing professional protective clothing for emergency services. Our range includes firefighter clothing, flotation garments and dry suits, high-visibility, flame retardant clothing.

Workers in the Blue Light sector always need the appropriate protective clothing. Our clothing solutions offer the best possible protection against multiple threats and significantly reduce the chances of serious injuries.

When disaster strikes, Sioen protects the rescue workers. Police, firefighters, private security, ambulance personnel, civil services, care givers and divers, they all find the appropriate garments in the Sioen range.

All of our garments are carefully designed for and tested by the wearers in the field. For over 50 years we have been dressing people in their various working conditions. Translated into garments, this means that we have provided them with over 120 million pieces. Produced, worn and approved by specialists for specialists.
